The Scrambling For the Cause golf Tournament was started in 2008. Two fraternity brothers of Kevin Klepper, who was then newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, saw an opportunity to not only show their support for Kevin, but a chance to raise awareness for all individuals affected by MS.
Through the love, support and participation of hundreds of families and friends, The Cause golf tournament has raised over $125,000 towards the National MS Society’s research and awareness movement. In addition to donations made to MS, a Greek scholarship was established in 2018 in honor of Kevin Klepper to recognize an outstanding student in the VSU Greek Community.
This year’s tournament will be played in Valdosta, GA due to our normal course in St. Simons being under construction. We will re-evaluate the tournament after this year to hopefully establish a location moving forward. It’s an unforgettable time to spend with old friends while making new ones who share both the support of Kevin and reason we Scramble Fore the Cause – MS.
Thank you so much for your time and donations, and as always we hope you have the opportunity to come experience the fun with us!
